These may include a variety of breathing techniques, postures and meditation and are are suited to complete beginners as well as seasoned practicioners. These sessions provide you with an opportunity to develop your individual interests and goals for your practice.
One-to-one sessions are an ideal way to:
- start your yoga practice or to develop your existing practice.
- take time for yourself.
- fit yoga into your busy schedule.
I see clients biweekly, weekly or fortnightly, and offer the flexibility of working around your schedule. I base the majority of my teaching at Santosa in Leith, Edinburgh, but am also happy to teach in the comfort of your own home or office (subject to location and time). It is also possible to do it online via Skype.
To find out more or to book an appointment with Jean, you can send him an email on the contact page here or call him on: 07985 528 839.
If your goals are more centered around physical or mental health issues you may benefit from a Yoga therapy session instead. You can find out more in the Yoga therapy section here.
Jean adapts his teaching to the needs and ability of his students by considering each person as a whole (body, mind, and spirit). The aim of each class is to encourage students to reconnect to their true self by placing emphasis on synchronising breath with movement. Practising in such a way is an invitation to heal one’s emotional conflicts and results in a state of harmony between mind, body, and spirit. Each practice is an inner journey of self-exploration through asanas (postures), meditation and pranayama (breathing exercises) which leads to a deeper understanding of one’s inner world.
Cancellation policy: Up to 24 hours before class, the full fee is refundable, however, it is non-refundable within 24 hours of class.
